Bio: He obtained his doctorate in the field of technical sciences, in the discipline of construction and operation of machines, on October 4, 2017, defending his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering of the Wrocław University of Technology: "Optimization of the parameters of the refrigerant boiling process in a low-pressure adsorption trigeneration system".

Description: The scope of the research is the boiling and evaporation of natural refrigerants in sub-atmospheric conditions. Mathematical modeling of thermal-flow processes in evaporators of negative pressure systems. Work carried out for the needs of adsorption refrigeration equipment, used in trigeneration installations or installations powered by solar energy.

Bio: She obtained her doctorate on September 27, 2021 by defending a dissertation entitled "Characteristics of the high-temperature boiling process of refrigerants in micro channels".

Description: Scientific interests concern issues related to heat transfer during boiling in the flow, with particular emphasis on the processes taking place in micro channels. The research topics focus on the identification of heat transfer mechanisms and their relationship with the structures of two-phase flow.

Bio: On January 5, 2005, he obtained his doctorate in the field of technical sciences, the discipline of mechanics and the specialty of mechanics, defending his doctoral dissertation at the Institute of Thermal Technology and Fluid Mechanics, Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Wrocław University of Technology, entitled: "Oscillating flow meter with a hall effect frequency meter".

Description: Currently, he is employed as a senior lecturer. He teaches the following courses: Energy metering, Measurement and testing of machines, Geothermal energy, In his scientific work he dealt with topics related to the metrology of single and two-phase fluid flows in pipelines, new designs of flow meters and new measurement techniques in the field of flows. He is also interested in problems related to the recovery of waste heat from geothermal installations.

Bio: He obtained his doctorate in the field of technical sciences, the discipline of energy and the specialization of atmosphere protection on June 13, 2018, defending his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Mechanics and Energy of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology under the title: "Removal of pollutants from exhaust gases with ozone - product characteristics".

Description: My scientific interests include issues related to the purification of boiler flue gases from nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide and mercury, and in particular I deal with the methods of simultaneous removal of these pollutants. Recently, I have been focusing on the study of the effect of the use of oxidants (liquid and gaseous) before the wet desulphurization installation on the process of simultaneous capture of nitrogen sulfur oxides and mercury from boiler flue gas.

stefan_reszewski.jpgBio: He obtained his doctorate in the field of technical sciences, mechanics and refrigeration specialization on March 27, 2003 defending his doctoral dissertation at the Institute of Thermal Technology and Fluid Mechanics of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, entitled: "Condensation of propane-butane mixture in the condenser of a domestic refrigerator".

Description: In his research work, he deals with the extraction of heat from the phase changes of steam as a lower heat source in heat pump systems, construction of heat pumps, the use of natural refrigerants in compression refrigeration systems, design of trigeneration and cogeneration systems with the use of absorption cooling devices, cooling and heating systems and self-regulation of refrigeration equipment.

Bio: He received his PhD in technical sciences, in the discipline of Environmental Engineering, Mining and Power Engineering, on 22.06.2022 defending at the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Wroclaw University of  Science and Technology, his dissertation entitled: "Metrological analysis of the ultrasonic flowmeter application in a pipeline downstream of a gate valve."

Description: His research interests are in the field of flow rate measurement under non-standard conditions, flow measurement using ultrasonic technology, and the application of numerical methods in determining measurement uncertainty. He is a co-author of 18 scientific publications, including 13 articles from the list of the Ministry of Education and Science, 7 articles in journals listed in Master Journal List (IF 9.635). He teaches/has taught subjects: Basics of metrology and experiment techniques, Measuring and measuring systems, Thermal energy management, High-efficiency CHP systems.

Bio: In the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of environmental engineering, mining and energetics, specializations energy metering, metrology, energy machines, he obtained on May 6, 2020 defending his doctoral thesis at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology entitled: "The influence of flow disturbances on the characteristics of ultrasonic flow meters with heads placed on pipeline."

Description: My scientific interests include the issues of thermal and flow phenomena occurring in installations operating in a continuous mode, especially in the field of energy and environmental engineering. I specialize in measuring and analyzing test results in the field of flows in non-standard conditions (two-phase liquid-gas flows, flows disturbed by elements of hydraulic installations and flow measurements without observing the normative assembly recommendations of flow meters), with particular emphasis on the use of ultrasonic flow meters in non-contact measurements.

Description: He deals with the broadly understood measurement of thermal-flow processes. He is interested in examining the metrological properties of non-invasive flow meters in measuring liquid flows. He studies the influence of various types of disturbances in the velocity profile on the flowmeter indications, as well as the influence of the appearance of the second phase in the fluid on the measurement result.

Bio: Doctorate in the field of technical sciences, in the discipline of construction and operation of machines, specialization of energy machines and devices, she obtained on January 23, 2008, defending her doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering of the Wrocław University of Technology under the title: "Measurement and quantitative characteristics of a new type reducer".

Description: The area of interest is the possibility of reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere thanks to the reduction of energy consumption in the construction sector and in the processes of energy production from non-renewable and renewable fuels, construction and operation of heat networks, proper conduct of water treatment processes in the energy sector. It is authorized to draw up energy performance certificates (entry No. 703).
