On October 14-18, master's and doctoral students, as well as researchers from across Europe, came together at the Unite! Research School to jointly develop knowledge in topics such as nuclear engineering, electrochemical energy processing and storage, artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0 and sustainable electronics. Wrocław University of Science and Technology was represented by four students from the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Ms. Sandra Jarmuła and Ms. Daria Wolniak, Mr. Adam Mołczan and Mr. Dawid Trzeciak, and Bartosz Zajączkowski, PhD DSc, assoc. prof., from the Division of Refrigeration and Heat Pumps.

The event was held in Autrans, in the mountains near Grenoble. Over the 5 days, students and doctoral students were able to participate in activities including:

• Lectures and plenary sessions,
• Transversal skills courses,
• Meetings with others MSc and PhDs students, researchers and industry representatives,  a research challenge with mixed teams
• Several visits of large instruments and research Infrastructures in Grenoble Area​

At the Transferable skills lectures panel, a speech “Confidence: from body language to scientific communication and grant writing” was delivered by Bartosz Zajączkowski, PhD DSc, assoc. prof.
