In connection with the implementation of the OPUS 22 research project, headed by Bartosz Zajączkowski, Ph.D., professor of the university, a new stand for the study of boiling on tubes under reduced pressure conditions has appeared in the Laboratory for Intensification of Multiphase Processes. The project, titled "Influence of the geometry of the tube bundle on pool boiling heat transfer in thermodynamic conditions close to the triple point", was launched in October 2022 and will take 36 months to complete. The construction and commissioning of the stand successfully crowns the first stage of the research work planned in the project.
