On 27 May 2025, a lecture titled “Spray Techniques in Environmental Protection” was held at Wrocław University of Science and Technology as part of the cooperation between the Department of Thermal Sciences, the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, and representatives of industry. The event was aimed at students and staff of the Faculty.

At the invitation of Arkadiusz Świerczok, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof., we hosted representatives of Spraying Systems Co., Mr. R. Makhoul and Mr. M. Tylikowski, who delivered a presentation covering the basics of spray processes, the use of modelling techniques (CFD, FEA), and examples of the company’s solutions applied in environmental protection systems.

The presentation, enriched with a visual demonstration of the spraying process, generated significant interest among participants, as evidenced by numerous questions asked by students.

We hope this meeting will mark the beginning of further collaboration. One of its expected outcomes is the development of student internship opportunities.
