168 employees of the Wrocław University of Technology were awarded medals for long service for the university. On Wednesday, June 15, in the H-14 building, the medals were presented to them during a special ceremony.
Medals are awarded for long service and exemplary and exceptionally conscientious performance of duties arising from work. A gold medal is awarded for 30 years of service, a silver medal for 20, and a bronze medal for 10.
The awards were presented by the Rector of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Professor Arkadiusz Wójs, the Vice Rector for Education, Professor Agnieszka Bieńkowska, the Lower Silesian Governor Jarosław Obremski and the Lower Silesian Superintendent of Education Roman Kowalczyk.
Eight employees of the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering (including five from the Department of Thermal Sciences) were among the honorees:
