On Friday, 67 members of our university received the Cross of Merit and the Medal for Long Service. Among the awardees were employees of the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering. The decorations, granted by the President of the Republic of Poland, were presented during a ceremony held in building H-14.
The Cross of Merit is awarded for acts of public service, voluntary work, and charitable activities. It is granted to individuals whose actions go beyond their usual duties and bring substantial benefit to the country or its citizens.
The decoration has three grades: Gold Cross of Merit, Silver Cross of Merit, and Bronze Cross of Merit.
Among the awardees were four employees of the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, including one from the Department of Thermal Sciences:
