Ms. Dominika Kaczmarek, MSc, will begin her doctoral studies at the Doctoral School of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in October. She will carry out her dissertation at the Department in cooperation with Bartosz Zajączkowski, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. As a member of the Division of Refrigeration and Heat Pumps, she will study the boiling of water under conditions close to the triple point.

In preparation for her scientific work, Ms. Dominika completed a three-month internship in May-July 2022 at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche Instituto di Tecnologie Avanzate per l'Energia "Nicola Giordano" (CNR ITAE) in Messina, Italy. At CNR ITAE (Institute for Advanced Energy Technologies), she worked on issues related to adsorption refrigeration.
