The 55th Inter-University Conference of Metrologists was held in Wroclaw on 20-22.09.2023. It was attended by more than 60 academics and industry representatives from all over Poland. Employees of the Department of Thermal Sciences actively participated in the event. The host and co-organizer of the conference was the Rawlplug company.
The opening of the conference was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Piotr Szulc, PhD DSc. The Organizing Committee of the 55th ICM included Artur Andruszkiewicz, PhD DSc, Elżbieta Wróblewska, PhD, Wiesław Wędrychowicz, PhD, Piotr Synowiec, PhD, and Piotr Piechota, PhD.
On the third day of the conference, a speech entitled "IceBattery - process optimization analysis" was delivered by Piotr Piechota, PhD, in collaboration with Michał Wojsa (Wentima) and Mateusz Lisiecki (Rawlplug company). Artur Andruszkiewicz, PhD DSc, served as Chairman of the conference’s Session 5.
