The Inter-University Conference of Metrologists is organized by the scientific community of Polish universities and has a long tradition. The first Conference, under the name Narada Katedr Miernictwa Elektryczego i Elektronicznego, was held in 1966 in Szczecin and concerned the problems of teaching metrology. It gave birth to the idea of annual meetings of metrologists devoted primarily to presentations of the work of young scientists, as well as serving to discuss teaching issues. For more than 50 years, thousands of people involved in metrology have participated in annual conferences organized by scientific centers across Poland. We are pleased that the venue of the 55th Inter-University Conference of Metrologists will be Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. It will be held on 20-22.09.2023.
The Conference is held under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Piotr Szulc, PhD DSc, and the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Professor Waldemar Rebizant, PhD DSc. Active participation in the organization of the conference is taken by the staff of the Department of Thermal Sciences.
The Organizing Committee includes the Division of Energy Metering of the Department of Thermal Sciences, composed of Artur Andruszkiewicz, PhD DSc, Elzbieta Wróblewska, PhD, Wieslaw Wędrychowicz, PhD, Piotr Synowiec, PhD, and Piotr Piechota, PhD.
